Crown Ducal Tableware / Gainsborough
Crown Ducal and Gainsborough were trade names used by A.G. Richardson & Co Ltd. They were founded in 1915 and production continued until its sale in 1974 to Wedgwood. During this time Crown Ducal was an important brand in middle-market tableware. Many patterns were enormously popular especially in the United States where the collectors market remains strong today.
