Vintage 1930’s to 1940’s bone china cup and saucer made by Booth’s in England. Floradora is a beautiful stylized floral pattern in soft colors on a geometric trellis. Gold accents including inside tea cup inside rim. Love the scallop edge of the saucer.
Date based on maker’s mark stamp content and colors: Booths; Made in England; A8042; ‘Floradora’.
Booths was in business from 1868 (as Thomas Booth and Co) 91 to 1948 and was taken over by Royal Doulton and the popular Floradora pattern was continued but with a back stamp that incorporated the Royal Doulton trademark.
