Elizabethan China
Founded in 1867, Taylor and Kent Ltd produced Bone China tableware at Florence Works, Longton. From around 1960 they started to use the trade name Elizabethan and in 1982 the business changed its name to Elizabethan Fine Bone China Ltd.
Through the 1980s Elizabethan Fine Bone China was a large scale producer of tea and tablewares. Traditional floral design was most common though some more contemporary styles were also made. In 1994 Elizabethan Fine Bone China became part of Churchill China who started to produce Queensware at the Florence works. The Florence works were closed and demolished in the 1990’s.
